Our 8 Hour Inchworm Arch – Great Chamber – Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon Tour takes you through the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. The route is a combination of rock crawling and thrilling sections of deep sand. Getting you into the heart of remote, local scenery that is less visited. This tour is packed full of adventure and unforgettable views.
Be ready for a ride full of epic scenery, expansive views and a total feeling of being “out there.“ This area is full of canyons, overlooks, bizarre rock formations, archaeology and a spectacular, seldom seen double arch, Inchworm.
Experience an invigorating UTV ride through Trail #1 of Hog Canyon to sand trails to reach Inchworm. Then it’s off to the Great Chamber. Here you will hike (round trip of 1/4 mile) to experience a unique alcove and giant sand dune. You will be captivated by views that go on for days. The photo opportunities are endless!! This tour is packed with adventure and endless wonder.
As we rally towards Peek-a-Boo Slot Canyon you’ll soak in breathtaking views of Navajo Sandstone and maybe spot some local wildlife. Once we arrive, prepare to be floored by its beauty and tranquil presence; it has been described by many as a sanctuary in stone.
With your guide, uncover the secrets of the canyon, exploring its narrow passages and mesmerizing hues, all layered by Mother Nature herself. You’ll also get the lowdown on the area’s history and geology. So, if you’re a photographer, hiker, or adventurer, this is your dream come true!
- Depending on the time of year, you may need a coat, gloves and a warm hat
- Sunscreen and comfortable hiking shoes are recommended
- There is dust at times so you may want to bring something to cover your face for the ride to the canyon
- A cooler full of water is supplied, though you may want to bring snacks and/or a lunch

Tour Details
- Your guide will meet you at our Kanab Tour Company office where you will gear up and head out for your adventure!
- We’ll bring along plenty of iced water. We recommend that you bring along high energy snacks and a lunch which you are welcome to store in our cooler.
- It is very easy to get dehydrated on this tour, make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day!
UTV Participation Requirements
- Children must be 5 years old to be on the UTVs. Please ask about 4WD options for families with youngsters.
- You must be 21 years or older and have a current, valid driver license to drive the UTV. Anyone that does not have their Driver License with them will not be able to drive.
- Polaris requires everyone 18 years or older to bring their government issued ID with you for waiver purposes, whether you are a driver or just a rider.
- If you are under 18 years of age, an adult must be present in the vehicle with you.
- Helmets are required and provided, along with goggles.
- You must be able to fasten the seat belt on the machine.
- The driver must be able to speak and understand English.
Group Continuity & Safety / Protecting our Resources
- All guests must stay with the group and guide at all times.
- The guide MUST BE NOTIFIED of any variance to this policy.
- Do not climb or hike up any steep rock faces or areas indicated as “off limits” by your guide.
- Do not enter any mine or cave openings.
If your vehicle is damaged while you ride, know that your out-of-pocket costs and loss of use charges will be capped. This allows renters to ride without the worry of unexpected costs or headaches. Ride confident and ride protected.
Under the standard plan the renter is responsible for $3000 in damages should any machine be damaged. Polaris will cover all costs above $3000.
For even more peace of mind, upgrade your protection for a fee of $25 per machine. This lowers your responsibility to $1500 and Polaris will cover all costs above $1500.
